About Us
The Let’s Make Music and Dance studio (located in Sea Cliff, New York) has proudly been serving the local area since 1975. Our vision of dance, music and performance is somewhat different than other studios in that you will always find an embracing, family-like environment upon entering our door.
Under the direction of Michele Drexler, our aim is to encourage the love of dance, and to provide the highest quality training for the aspiring dancer including grace, posture, coordination and musical appreciation.
Our students have performed in multiple arenas from sports venues to Disney World to local charity events. Our dancers thrive through mentorship from our experienced faculty and advanced opportunities, including selective programs like the Rockette Summer Intensive. Many of our alumni have gone on to perform on Broadway, dance professionally, and launch successful studios of their own. We empower every dancer to excel, build confidence, and have fun in a warm, welcoming studio culture.
LMMD students experience the magic of a true professional show—from backstage to center stage—by rehearsing and performing their final recital at the renowned Tilles Center.
We are members of Dance Educators of America.
“Thank you everyone for all the love and support you have shown for Mr. Jan Richard. We were completely overwhelmed. It was so wonderful to be surrounded by students and families past and present. He loved his Music and Dance family so very much, and was so proud to be a part of this community for over 40 years. He has left quite a legacy. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.”
